Studies show that skipping meals will only make your metabolism confused. Your body naturally detects if you need more energy than usual. So if your metabolism works harder without burning anything, your body fats will automatically act as your energy source. Usually they will gather around your belly area, under your arms or thighs. Skipping meals will also make you vulnerable for insulin resistance which will make you prone for type 2 diabetes development.

Here are some tips on how you can plan meals, save more time and lose weight at the same time without having to sacrifice your meals:

1. There are other ways to trim down without having to skip lunch. You can insert exercise while managing your healthy meals. It will boost your immune system and burn more calories even when you sleep. No need to exhaust yourself. An hour of exercise every day is enough just to maintain your muscle mass.
2. You don’t have to hate foods. You just have to pick the healthy ones. Remember that food fuels our body and give us energy to make it through the rest of day.
3. It’s okay to eat a lot. Just make sure your plate has bigger vegetable portion. This will help you lose the fats without sacrificing any nutrient your body needs.

Make a Daily Plan for your Meal:

2. Stock your fridge with fresh vegetables and fruits. If you have a busy schedule, your fridge could be the first thing you’d open every time you’re in your kitchen. You can also prepare slices of fruits and place them in plastic wares so you can just grab them in the morning or anytime of the day especially when you are in a hurry.
3. Cook food in advance. You can just cook and freeze your meal and save it for later. Place or cut your favorite dishes in servings so you can save time in preparations and still have the same meal if you want it to.
4. Renovate your kitchen. You don’t need a big kitchen if you don’t even have the time to always cook. Try to make adjustments where you can move easily and find things easily through the use of organizers. These things are already available at space saving stores.

Always keep in mind that your body’s nourishment should always come first before anything else. Remember that your health is your only health. You can always sneak losing pounds without having to sacrifice your health and be more productive at your own pace.
