Duchess Kate, Prince William, and Prince Harry Team Up to Promote Mental Health Awareness

Prince William, his wife the Duchess Kate and his brother Prince Harry teamed up presented their speeches in London for their mental health organization named Heads Together. Their speeches aim to aware people about the real struggle of having such mental case and how people endure it.

Their program is the chosen charity for the coming London Marathon this coming April 23, 2017. The royals have shared hopes for its success in their speeches.

Prince William emphasized the silent pain evolving around mental illness that only few may have an idea about. The Prince said “Talking to someone else is a positive and confident step to take—but for too long it has been a case of ‘Keep Quiet and Carry on,’” and he added that because of this silence the result for people who undergo such illness can be very devastating.

Duchess Kate of Cambridge also supported his husband by going through their program’s goal. She added that that their Heads Together program aims to let people see what is really going through with mental illness, how people with this disease suffer and fight through it in different ways and how they found help in facing their mental challenges. This goal are planned to be done weeks before the Marathon starts.

Prince Harry gave his support and concluded their campaign by asking people to be involved through showing how important and how it feels like to have conversations with people suffering from mental illness. Prince Harry also added that famous or not and also great ideas are very welcome in their campaign.
